10 Qualities of Outstanding Donor Recruiters

What makes winning recruiters winners? From my work with over 300 blood centers in 11 countries, I have some observations.

1. Winners Emulate Success. If you want to be better at anything, find those who are the best at it and model their behaviors. Follow first, ask questions later. There is synergy to be found among performers, whereas there is negative energy to be found among those who don’t perform.

2. Winners have PMA. Nothing distinguishes winners like a Positive Mental Attitude. Regardless of the obstacles before them, they innately know they will win and everything will turn out alright. Given lemons,

The Online High School eWorkshop – Engage student donors this summer!

eworkshopHigh School blood drives net more donors when students help choose the T-Shirt they will receive at blood drives next semester.

Several of our clients are engaging students this summer, through an eWorkshop for High School donors. Students who took our Student Donor Survey last spring are Emailed an invitation this summer to go online and vote for the blood center’s Fall High School T-Shirt design.

It’s a positive touch point with student donors this summer. It keeps them mindful of their identity as a blood donor, without asking them for anything but their opinion!
